The softer side of Tyler, The Creator

Loving this video at the moment. Directed by Wolf Haley aka Tyler, The Creator.

If you know Tyler, The Creator you'll know that this is somewhat out of character for him. Hip-Hop artist, comedian, clothing designer, skateboarder, and director, among many other things.Tyler is proving that he is not just a creator, but The Creator.

The Delightful Duo

I did not get an opportunity to see this live, so I get a bittersweet feeling every time I listen to it. That feeling derives from the fact that I wasn't there to experience the reality of the set, but also the music has the lower "lip-biting" qualities I love to hear in these subtle/micro mixes.

This improvised set from David Last and Ezekiel Honig never gets old, and has changed some of my ideas about music in general. I encourage these two gentlemen to break out those hard drives and create again.

Hopefully they get back together to do just that. I'll cross my fingers.
